Planter Maintenance on the High St

FURTHER WORK IS TAKING PLACE ON PLANTING THE AREA AROUND REGENCY COURT  ON SUNDAY 19th DEC AT 9am (til noon). MEET THERE WITH OZ AND KEN.

We are helping to plant the 2 beds at Regency Court, the building in front of the Police Station, having replanted the planters in the High St in recent weeks. After each session we retire for refresshment  in a local cafe or pub. If anyone could bring along a spade or fork and some green waste bags it would be very useful. We will be providing gloves and hi-viz vests. Hope you can make it, Oz”

A big replanting session took place last Sunday (21st). Well done to all those people who came out to help!! It was wonderful.

See write up in B14.

A team of volunteers from Kings Heath Transition are looking after the 68 planters in and around the High St. We hope this shows the community that we care about the environment in many different ways.  We always need more people to help and it’s a very rewarding thing to do, so if you would like to look after a small group of planters please contact us by sending an email to transitionkh@gmail.com

Here are maps showing where the groups of planters are located.

Thanks to everybody who came out to help with the planting on Sunday. It was a really good session, we all seemed to enjoy ourselves and we were really pleased with the work we got done. Ken has pretty much completed the planters now.Weather permtting, on Sunday 28th from 9 till 12 we are planning to start clearing the 2 beds at Regency Court, the building in front of the Police Station. We plan to have a future session to get these beds planted up. If the weather is really bad I suggest we retire to a cafe or pub for a couple of drinks instead.

If anyone could bring along a spade or fork and some green waste bags it would be very useful. We will be providing gloves and hi-viz vests.

Hope you can make it
