How can Highbury Estate contribute to a sustainable Kings Heath and Moseley
- NOTE A DRAFT OF THE IDEAS FROM THIS MEETING IS IN PREPARATION WITH A VIEW TO PUTTING SUGGESTIONS TO HIGHBURY TRUST AS PART OF THE PROCESS (7 July 20)
- This is the topic for Transition Cafe on Tuesday 14 June at 7.30pm at the Kitchen Garden Cafe, York Rd, Kings Heath. Doors open from 6.30 with organic snacks, drinks, soup, cakes etc on sale. This is an Open Space event as part of Transition Cafe. All kinds of prospects for the Highbury Estate are under consideration during an Options Appraisal, which is being developed about the future of the Estate. To see more detail follow this link to the Highbury Friends site.
- The Highbury Estate has historical, horticultural, natural, sustainable and social resources all of which could be better harnessed. It is a great asset on our doorstep! Our aim for the evening is to get a collective view from a Transition perspective which we can share as part of the Options Appraisal. If you haven’t been to one of our Transition Cafes before you are very welcome. The evening is free, but a voluntary donation of around £3 would be welcome to help cover costs of the evening.
