Here are some dates of events in Kings Heath that might be of interest.

THIS WEEK! 30th, 31st August Summertastic 3 in Highbury Park

Highbury Orchard Community offer Woodland Play sessions for children aged 5-11 and their families. Thursday 29th is now full. There are some spaces on Friday (10.00 – 3.00) and Saturday (1.00 – 6.00). More details are on For last minute bookings, please contact Liz on 0121 628 2680.

7th September 9:00 – 2:00 Kings Heath Farmers Market, Kings Heath Square

We will be at the market as usual. Please drop by and say hello. We want to map the fruit trees in the area, people’s back gardens etc Come and tell us!

19th September 7.30pm Kings Heath Transition/SusMo meeting

We have been combining our meetings recently and have plenty of news and views to share. Do come along. Venue to be decided, somewhere in Kings Heath.

28th September 1:00 – 6:00 Honey Fun Day, Highbury Park

As part of the Friends of the Earth Bee Cause campaign (to promote bees and keep them healthy), Highbury Orchard Community is holding an outdoor event to celebrate anything and everything to do with bees and honey. There will be fun games and activities for all ages, including their honeycake baking competition alongside the more serious information stands, and wildflowers seed sowing. See for all the details.
