Next SusMo & Transition Kings Heath meeting – all welcome!
Thursday 20th June – 7:30pm – Kitchen Garden Cafe, York Road, Kings Heath
Join us and our friends from Transition Kings Heath for our second joint meeting.

Last time, we discussed the progress of a variety of local sustainability initiatives – Birmingham Energy Savers, the Highbury Orchard Project, CoRE50 – as well as live issues relating to preserving street trees and maintaining planters.

If that sounds interesting to you – or if you’d like to join us in discussing something else – come along We’ll be in Kings Heath again this month, but will be meeting in Moseley in July.

Save the date: A Green Vision for Moseley & Kings Heath
Thursday July 4th, 7pm, Moseley Exchange

Members of SusMo, Transition Kings Heath and CoRE50 have been invited to steer and facilitate discussions at a ‘community conference’ that Moseley & Kings Heath Labour Party is organising. Taking Birmingham’s ‘Green Vision‘ statement as a start, we have decided to shape the discussion into three broad themes – Social, Environmental and Economic – encouraging attendees to decide on their own specific topics within those themes.

In attendance will be the Cabinet Member for a Green, Safe and Smart City, Councillor James McKay. As such, this will be a great opportunity to shape the work of the ongoing Green Commission, and to champion the interesting work that goes on in the Moseley & Kings Heath areas.

This conference is open to everyone, so please let us know if you would like to come.
