Help Core50 to install a solar roof before 1st August

Dear friend,

We know you are someone who is interested in supporting your local community.

Will you help us to raise the money to install Solar PV and hot-water panels at the Ackers Adventure Centre, Sparkbrook? We are trying to raise short term loans to a total of £50,000 by the start of July.

If you have some money sitting in a bank or building society account, it won’t be earning very much interest at present. This is a chance to invest in generating clean energy that will help to cut the running costs of a valuable community facility.

Sustainable Moseley (SusMo); Kings Heath Transition; and Balsall Heath is our Planet have joined together to form a Renewable Energy Co-operative called CoRE 50.

Our first partner organisation is Ackers Adventure in Sparkbrook. The Feed-in Tariff for PV panels is due to reduce from 1 August, so we want to try and raise the money to fit PV panels on their building before that date.

More details are in the attached document.

Thank you very much for reading this. We would love to hear from you….
